Examination TextElizabeth Jocelyn aged 22 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St. Mary le Bone in the County of Middlesex upon her oath saith that she never was married nor bound an apprentice, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mrs Dillingham a Baker near Denmark Court in the Strand in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of 14 months at the yearly wages of 3 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about five years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 14th Day of August 1762 before Benjamin Cox.
