Examination Text | Eleanor Mead aged about 49 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon oath saith that she never was married, that she was bound an apprentice by an indenture for five years to Mr Guy a Tine Drawer in that part of Chandois Street which is in the Parish aforesaid and there served all the said term which expired about 30 years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Taken in the workhouse of fifth day of June 1760. |
