Examination TextMary MacDougal aged 15 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed as a vagrant from the Parish of Coleshill in the County of Warwick upon her oath saith that she was born in Bennets Court in the Strand in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields, that she never did any act to gain a subsequent settlement, that her father John MacDougal was a Shoemaker by trade and lived in and rented an house in Bennets Court aforesaid, but how long he kept the same what rent he paid or when quitted it she this Examinant cannot tell, that he never did any act to gain a subsequent settlement to this Examinant's knowledge. Taken in the workhouse the 19th Day of March 1765.
