Examination TextMary Andress aged 59 Years removed from Barking Essex upon her Oath saith that she is the Widow of Richard Andresswho died about 16 Years ago to whom she was Married that St Martins Church Aug 3d 1766 , that she had hailed that her said Husband was Born in Denbighshire , but the particular part she cannot tell nor.she recollected , on hearing that she never rented TenPounds by the Year, was never bound Apprentice been a yearly hired servant in any place nor did any Act to gain a settlement in her own right to her Knowledge or both that she this Examinant before her intermarriage with her said iHusband being then Single & unmarried was a yearly hired Servant with Mr Harvey a Distiller at Charing Cross in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields for the space of Two that years under one hiring at the yearly Wages of 7 Pounds diet & lodging quitted the same in May 1766 , that she had never been a Yearly hired Seven in any case since the decease of was said Husband done any Act to gain a subsequent settlement.
