| Examination Text | Sarah Wood aged 23 Years upon her Oath saith that she was never Married that she was a Yearly hired Seven with Mr Digory fforest in St Martins lane in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields from the 20th Day of September 1790 to the 20th Day of October was 1791 being Thirteen Months all under one hiring at the Yearly Wages of Seven Guineas diet & lodging said she quitted which she has not been a Yearly hired Servant in any one place for Twelve Months together not done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement. And this Examinant upon her voluntary Oath further saith that she is no great with Child or Children , which is or are likely to be Born a Bastard or Bastards and to become chargeable to the said Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields and that Stephen Young who lives at Cupers Bridge Lambeth and several Times Carnal Knowledge of her Body and that one of which Times did beget her with the Child Children she now Gaullist with & is Pregnant of and that he the said Stephen Young is the true and only ffather thereof and no Man else.
