| Examination Text | Henry Griffiths aged 35 Years upon his Oath saith that he lived & rented a House in Lumley Court Strand in the Parish of Same Martin in the ffields for the space of TwoYears at the Yearly Rent of Ten Pounds beside Taxes quitted the same in August 1789 since which he hath not rented Ten Pounds by the Year not done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement , that he was Married to his present Wife Catherine at the Parish Church of St Leonard Shoreditch April 19th1786 by whom he has issue Three Children to wit James born Janry 16th/88 Rosehannah born Octr 4/89 Joseph born July last & Mary born Febry 5/95 . Sworn this 27th Day of December 1791 before John Collick Henry Griffiths his Mark Marrd by a Priest |
