Examination TextJane Wildboare aged 41 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the wife of William Wildboare (gone from her) to whom she was married at the Parish Church of St Margaret in the County of Kent five years ago and upwards, that she this Examinant hath been informed that her said husband was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Mr Tornay, a Staymaker in St Martin's Street in the Parish abovewritten and there served his said Master about six years, and then left his said Master's service, that her said husband never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place, nor was assigned over to any other Person by his said Master since he quitted his said Master's service to this Examinant's knowledge. Taken in the workhouse 21st January 1769.
