| Examination Text | Andrew Barrett aged about [42] years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St. John the Evangelist in the city and liberty of Westminster upon his oath saith that he lived in and rented an house in that part of Exeter Street which is in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of four months at the yearly rent of 24 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about 11 years ago, that he hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Taken in the workhouse the second Day of March 1772. |
