Examination Text | Charles George Meebourne aged 24 years passed from the Parish of St. Mary le Bone in the County of Middlesex to the Parish of St Martin in the Fields in the said County of Middlesex upon his oath saith that he was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to William Peter Phillip Le Jeune a Jeweller in New Street in the said Parish of St Martin the Fields and there served his said Master all the said term of seven years which expired about three years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since, that he was married to his present wife Anne at the Parish Church of St Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex the 13th July 1768 by whom he hath two children to wit Jane aged two years and upwards and Charles George aged four months both now with this Examinant. Sworn the 29th day of February 1772 before Thomas Kynaston. |
