Examination TextMary Forsaith aged 17 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that John Forsaith (who died in Ireland about [blank] years ago), this Examinant's Father, was a Trunk Maker by trade and lived in and rented an house in Long Acre (near Chapel Alley) in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for space of eight years at the yearly rent of 50 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about [blank] years ago, that her father never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes after he quitted the said house in Long Acre to this Examinant's knowledge. Taken in the workhouse the 13th Day of January 1772.
