Examination Text | Robert Leslie aged about 46 years and lodging at Mr Cuthbert's a Staymaker in that part of Russell Street which is in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon his oath saith that he was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to John Cuthbert a Staymaker in Russell Street in the Parish aforesaid and there served all the said term, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since the expiration of the said apprenticeship. Sworn the 26th Day of July 1771 before John Durden. |
