Examination TextJohn Savell aged about 42 years upon his oath saith that he was (by the Parish officers of the Parish of Richmond in the County of Surry) bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to John Douglas a Peruke Maker in that part of Chandos Street which is in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served his said Master all the said term out which said term expired about 20 years ago, that he this Examinant hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 18th Day of February 1774 before Thomas Kynaston.
