Examination TextSarah Tomlin aged 50 years lodging at Mr Marquands a house let out in tenements in Off Alley in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the wife of William Tomlin (now ill at his lodgings aforesaid) to whom she was married at the Parish Church of Christ Church in Spital Fields about 27 years ago, that her said husband is a Taylor by trade and lived in and rented an house in Orange Court in the Parish aforesaid for the space of three years at the yearly rent of 28 pounds besides taxes, that she quitted the said house about three years ago, that her said husband hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since. Sworn the 17th Day of February 1774 before Thomas Kynaston.
