Examination TextThe Examination of Henry Baker lodging at Mrs Holman's at No.8 in Angel Row at Hammersmith taken this 27th Day of January 1780. This Examinant on his oath saith that he is about 60 is of age, that he was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Mr John Honeyman a Book Binder in Hunt Court in St Martin's Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served his said Master all the aforesaid term which expired about 40 years ago, that he hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the day and year first above written before Sampson Wright.
