| Examination Text | Hannah Cavill aged about 41 years lodging with Mrs Rook at the sign of the Union Armes in [Panton] Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mrs Parmier an Undertaker near St Martin's Court in Castle Street in the Parish aforesaid for the space of one year and an half all at one Time at the yearly wages of 4 pounds [10] shillings diet and lodging, quitted the same about 19 years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 17th Day of March 1780 before William Hyde. |
