Examination TextMary Makin aged 42 years last March lodging at [blank] Haynes's in Downes's Street in Piccadilly upon her oath saith that she is the wife of William Makin (now a prisoner in Tothill Fields Bridewell for debt) to whom she was married at the Parish Church of St Mary le Bone the 19th of September in the year 1760, that her said husband is a Mason by trade and lived in and rented an house in Pump Court in White Hart Yard in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of five years at the yearly rent of 20 pounds besides taxes quitted the same about two years ago, that her said husband hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since, that she this examinant hath four children living by her said husband to wit Elizabeth Sarah aged 12 years last May, Ann aged about nine years, William Solomon aged about seven years and Catherine aged three years all now with this Examinant. Sworn the first Day of January 1776 before Thomas Bullard.
