Chambers aged 5 years and upwards passed as a Vagrant from the parish of St James Westminster to the Parish of St Martin in the Fields, Upon her Oath saith that she never was married, That she was a yearly hired servant to John Thredwell a Victualler at the Sign of the Duke of Cumberlands Head in St Martin's Street in the said parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of one year and eight months all under one hiring at the yearly wages of six pounds diet and lodging quitted the same about sixteen years ago, That she hath not kept house rented a tenement of ten pounds by the year paid any Parish taxes nor been a yearly hired Servant in any one place for twelve months together since. Sworn the 7th Day of February 1783 Before William Hyde.
