| Examination Text | William Coles aged about 63 years lodging in the Workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields Upon his Oath saith That he lived in and Rented an House the corner of Northumberland Street in the strand in the Parish aforesaid for the space of Five years at the Yearly Rent of Thirty Pounds besides taxes quitted the same about Thirty years ago, That he hath not kept house rented a tenement of ten pounds by the year nor paid any Parish taxes since, That he was Married to his Present Wife Ann in the Church of this Parish about thirty years ago. Sworn the 19th Day of August 1783 Before William Hyde. |
