Examination TextSusanna Garlick aged near Fifty years (lately in the workhouse of the parish of St Martin in the ffields and then removed from the parish parish of Chelsea in the County of Middlx) Saith she is the wife of John Garlick towhom she was marryed at the hand and pen at the ffleet near twenty years ago that he is by trade a Butcher and was bound an Apprentice by Indenture for seven years to Mr Livingthorp in hungerford Market whom he there served four years and an half and then ran away and went to Sea and never was turned over to any other person never kept any house rented ten pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired Servant hath one Child Sarah near aged near Eleven years Sworn the 25th Day of May 1741 before me } Val Hilder Susan Garlick
