Examination TextAlexander White aged ffourty two years lodging last in Mercer Street in Long Acre where he hath lodged a ffortnight Saith he is by Trade a Staymaker and learned that Business of his Father Thomas White who lived in Drum Alley in the parish of St Clement Danes where he this Examinant was born that his said ffather removed from thence into Greyhound Court in the said parish of St Clement Danes kept house there about sixteen years and paid sixteen pounds yearly Rent and that he removed from thence into Earl's Court and kept house there about eighteen years and paid twenty pounds a year Rent and he this Examinant with him and continued there all the time that his Father left that house about six or seven Years ago and never took any other house since and that he this Examinant was marryed to Mary his wife about twelve years ago at the hand and pen in Fleet Lane and has no child by her Sworn the 16th day of July 1739 before Val Hilder
