Examination TextSusan Purcell aged twenty seven years (in the workhouse) Saith she is the wife of Henry Purcell gone from her four or five months ago and where he now is knows not that she was marryed to him at the Rainbow Coffeehouse at the ffleet near six years ago but has no Child by him that he is by trade a Baker and was bound Apprentice to a Cabinetmaker in Drury Lane who turned him over to one Mr Simpson a Baker in Thames Street and that the said Mr Simpson turned him over to one Mr Stocten a Baker who lived at the Corner of Dirty Lane in Long Acre whom he served there untill his time expired as she hath heard him say but how long he lived with either of the said Master she this Examinant knows not and that he never kept any house rented ten pounds by the year paid any parish Taxes or was a yearly hired Servant since
