Examination TextJohn Bowler aged abt forty Seven years now lodging at one Mrs Price'sin St Martin'sLane Saith that he was born at Prince Risborough in the County of Bucks that he is by Trade a Butcher which he learnt of this Father at Prince Risborough aforesd that he came to Town about twenty Six years Since and that abt Seventeen years agoe he took House in Woodstock Court at Charing Cross wch he kept about nine or ten years & for which he pd twenty pounds by the year Rent and that he never kept House afterwards Saith that he was married to Jane his now Wife at the ffleet abt Seven years agoe who hath one Daur named Jane aged ten years born at Charing Cross aforesd wch she had by a former Husband who kept House who kept next Door to this Examinant in Woodstock Cort aforesd of abt 30th by the year Rent who died in Jamiaca & never kept any other House after that in Woodstock Cort to this Examts knowledge Sworn the 2d Day of Septr 1737 before me Jas Fraser John Bowler
