Examination TextMary Walters aged upwards of ffourty ffive years (in the Workhouse) Saith she was never marryed that she was born in South Wales from whence she came to London about eight years ago and was hired to one Mr Morris who kept the Coach and horses Alehouse in Langley Street in the parish of St Martin in the ffields as a Servant for the yearly Wages of Three Pounds and Diet and Lodging and that under such hiring she served him for the Space of three years who then quitted that house and one Justice Willis took the same and hired her this Examinant to served him at the same Wages with whom she also continued and served him the Space of a twelvemonth and came from the said House and Service two years ago since which she never kept house rented ten pounds by the year paid any parish Taxes or was a yearly hired Servant Sworn the Day of 173 Before rem from St Giles in the ffields
