Examination TextDorothy Davisaged Seventy two years Lodging at one Mr Butts at the Sign of the Coventry Cross in Drury Lane Saith she is the widow of James Davis who dyed upwards of thirty years ago to whom she was Married at one Mr hewitts house who then lived in Earls Court in this parish about Thirty Six years ago Saith that her said husband was no Trade That she Since his Death kept house in Earls Court aforesd and paid Seventeen pounds by the year Rent and all Taxes for Sixteen years and that she Left that house about Twelve years ago Since which she never kept house of or rented Ten pounds by the year or paid any Parish Taxes or was a yearly hired Servant Since hath no Children living Sworn the 28th June 1737 Before Jas: Fraser Dorothy Davis
