Examination TextWestminster William ffogget aged about Thirty four Years lodging at one Gardiner's a Chandler Shop in Little Bridges Street in this Parish where he hath lodged near half a year Saith he was bound an Apprentice by Indenture for seven Years to one John Kendrick who then kept the Bear and ragged Staff an Alehouse the Corner of Bear Street in Castle Street also within this Parish and served all his Time there which expired about the Year 1723 Saith he never took any house rented ten Pounds by the year paid any parish Taxes or lived with any person as a yearly hired Servant the Space of Twelvemonth since the Expiration of his Apprenticeship that he was marryed to Deborah his wife at the Vine at the ffleet on the twelfth Day of December seven years ago by whom he hath no Children living Sworn the 27th Day of July 1736 Before Val: Hilder The mark of William ffoggett NB he was past from St James Wr in the year1734}
