Examination TextRebecca Swanwick aged abt 22 years Lodging last in Dyot Street St Giles Saith that she is the wife of Wm Swanwick now Sick in the Street Saith she was marryed to him at the Hand and pen at the ffleet about two years ago by whom she hath no Children Living that her said husband was born in the Meuse in this parish and that his ffather was Coachman to Queen Ann and kept a house in princess Court in hedge Lane in this parish but of on Rent never heard before he was a Servant to Queen Ann he was in the Service of the Duke of Somerset and had there continued Some years and that her said husband never was an apprentice or a yearly hired Servt never kept house Rented ten pounds by the year or paid any parish Taxes that when she Married him he used to work at making of Cloaths for the Soldiers Sworn the Day of 1736 before it was his Father in Law kept house in Princess Court
