Examination TextAnn Mackdougall aged about Thirty One Years now in the workhouse Saith she was never Married or an Apprentice That she was born at Stonystratford in the County of Bucks from whence she came to London when very young And that her ffather James Mackdougall kept House then known by the Name of the Ship Ale House in Charles Court in the Strand in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields for which he paid about thirty pounds a year rent and parish Taxes and kept the same Several years And this Examinant further saith that she was a yearly hired Servant about a year and an half to one Mrs Thornton a Milliner then living near Mr Harbin the Stationer in the Strand and that she had three pounds a year Wages Diet and Lodging and left her said service about five years agoe and never kept House never rented ten pounds or was a yearly hired Servant a year together in any Service Since
