Examination TextMary Burden aged about Twenty Six Years lodging with her Sister in Oxford Road in the parish of Saint George Hanover Square Saith she is the Wife of Thomas Burden now in Saint Thomas's Hospital to whom she was Married at the ffleet about three years agoe That he is by Trade a Butcher and served his Apprenticeship of seven year to Mr Austin in Hungerford Market in the parish of Saint Martin in the ffields which expired about four years Since And that her said Husband never kept House never rented ten pounds by the year or paid any parish Taxes nor that he over was a yearly hired servant a whole year in any service since the Expiration of this said apprenticeship She hath one Child by her said Husband To wit Jane aged about two years born in the parish of Saint Giles in the ffields Sworn the 1st Day of ffebruary in the year of our Lord 1733 before me Jas: Fraser The Mark of Mary Burden
