Examination Text | Elizabeth Newbery aged upwards of Forty Years in the Workhouse saith she is the widow of Edward Newbery who died about two years ago to whom she was married at the Fleet about Twenty years since That he was a yearly hired Servant before marriage to Brigadier Panton in the Meuse in this parish whom he served there about a year and an Half but what Wages he had there cannot tell That her said Husband and she never kept House rented ten pounds by the year or paid any Parish Taxes Hath no Children Sworn |
