Examination TextThe Examination of Frances Woodall Singlewoman taken on Oath this Seventeenth Day of January 1733 Who n her Oath saith she is about Twenty Three years of Age and that she was never Married That she was on Friday the third Day of November last delivered of a ffemale Bastard (Since Christened Elizabeth) in the workhouse of and belonging to the said parish of Saint Martin in the ffields and which died on the Twenty second Day of the said Month of November And that one George Palmer a Barber and Peruke Maker now or lately living with his ffather at Richmond in the County of Surry had on or about the ffifteenth Day of ffebruary last past the Carnal Knowledge of her Body on her Bed at her Lodging in the House of one Mrs Wilkinson aforesaid where they lay together all night and never before nor Since And she also further on her Oath saith that he the said ffemale Bastard Child and that he is the true and only ffather the true and only ffather thereof and no Man else Sworn the Day and year abovewritten before Thomas De Veil Jas Fraser The mark of ffrances Woodall
