Examination Text | Sarah hutchins Single aged 25 years Saith she was on the 25th day of December last past delivered of a ffemale Bastard Child in the Workhouse of the Parish of St Martin in the fields and Since christened Elizabeth and that one James Ragg a Shoemaker who lodged near the Bull and Gate in holborn had Carnal knowledge of her Body on the 26th day of March last past at one Mrs Moseleys a Chandlers Shop in Long Acre at which time he begot on her Body the said ffemale Bastard Child and that he the said James Ragg is the true and only father thereof and no Man else Sworn the 17th Day of January 1733 before Jas Fraser Thomas DeVeil Sarah hodgson |
