Examination Text | Hugh Mackintosh aged about fifty five years now in the workhouse Saith he is a widower and hath so been about four years That he is by Trade a Taylor and Served his Apprenticeship in Scotland where he was born and from whence he came to London upwards of thirty years agoe That he kept House about Twenty Years in Cooks Alley in Bedford Bury for which he paid Eight pounds by the year Rent but never paid to the poor and never kept any other House or rented the value of Ten pounds by the year in England |
