Examination TextElizabeth Smith aged about forty Two years lodging at one Mrs Harrison in Angel Alley in Long Acre in this parish where she hath lodged about two Months Saith she was born in Peter Street Claremarket in the parish of Saint Clement Danes And that she served an Apprenticeship of Eight years to one Mr Babb a Glover who lodged at one Mr Bridgemans a Glover against the Bear Tavern in the Strand to which Mr Bidgeman the said Babb workt And that she after was a yearly hired Servant to one Mrs ffielding a Mantuamaker who lodged in Half Moon Alley near Sadlers Hall in Cheapside whom she served there three years And that she afterwards was a yearly hired servant to one Mr Mocket in Salisbury Street in the Strand upwards of four years and an half at four pounds by the year wages Diet and Lodging there and that she left that service about half a year agoe That she was never Married or a Housekeeper Sworn
