| Examination Text | Ann Rue aged about 24 Years Lodging Several Nights past in St Giles's Parish Saith she was never Married never an Apprentice was born att Shad Thames near Rotherhith where her ffather kept house Severall Years paid about 8th Pr Ann Rent as she hath heard her ffather Say and paid Taxes And that she this Examint lived with Mrs Salisbury Clear Starcher in Durham Yard in this Parish two Years And that she was put to her by her ffather who was to have given her said Mistress a Sume of Money to learn her this Examint the business of a Clear Starcher but that her said ffather never paid her said Mistress any of the Money in Consideration of which this Examinant Served her abt one year & half and for the last half year had after yr Rate of £3 Pr Ann Wages Diet & Lodging which place she left about 2 Years agoe and never lived a Year in any one Service Since |
