Examination TextSarah Edwards Aged abt 45 Years now Lodging at the house of one Mrs Baker in Vinegar Yard in this Parish Saith she is the widow of John Edwards who died about 2 years and an half since to whom she was Married at Cripplegate Church in the City of London abt 24 years agoe Saith that her said husband was by Trade a Callico Printer and served his Apprenticeship of Seven Years tothat Business in Gravell Lane Southwark wth Expired abt 30 Years agoe and after the Expiracon thereof worked as a Journeyman for Severall years and then after that took a house in Cloth ffair in the parish of St Bartholomew London at the Rent of £16 Pr ann and paid all parish Taxes kept the same about 2 years and left it about 23 Years agoe And this Examinant further saith that she and her said husband afterwards took a house in Vinegar Yard in this Parish at the Rent of £12 Pr Ann and paid all Parochial Taxes and lived therein about 22 years left the same about a quarter of a year agoe and never kept house or Rented £10 Pr Ann Since hath one Child Ann Aged about Eleven Years Jurat 4 die Juny Anno Dom 1731 Coram Rob Stiles the mark of Sarah Edwards
