Examination Text | Mary Dulear aged about 32 years Saith she is the wife of John Dulear now living with her at One Mr Taylor near the hoop Tavern in the Strand Saith that she was brought to bed and Delivered of a ffemale Bastard Child at the House of one Mr Hancock in Hungerford Market upon the 14 day of ffebry last was 5 years (Since Christened Mary) aged about 5 years and three quarters now in the Workhouse And further upon her Oath saith That one Thomas Simpson a Watchmaker who then went as her husband tho she was a Single Woman had Carnal Knowledge of her Body And that he the said Thomas Simpson and no other Man is the true and only ffather thereof |
