Examination TextMary Irons als Hione aged about 26 Years at the Workhouse passed from St: Giles in the ffields Saith that she is the wife of Edward Irons als Hione who hath been from her about four Months But she saw him last Saturday & believes he is some where about this Parish, Says he is by Trade a Taylor that he was bound an Apprentice by Indre for Seven Years to one Mr Edmund Purcer in Hartshorn Lane only for his ffreedom, Serving his Apprenticeship with one Mr Thompson a Taylor at the Hole in the Wall by Old Mann's Coffee House Charing Cross and worked with him for some time afterwards for a weekly Wages, Saith he was never a yearly hired Servant, That he never kept house, or Rented £10 by the year, hath three Children Vizt: Joseph aged near five years Edwards aged near three Years and Thomas aged Seven Months. And that her said Husband.doth not allow any manner of Maintenance But refuses so to do
