Examination TextAnn Hayes aged 67 Years at the Workhouse, Saith that she is the Widow of William Hayes who died about 40 Years agoe, That she was Married to him at St: Martin's Church 40 Years since, Saith he was never bred to any Trade That he was never a yearly hired Servant as she knoweth, Saith he never kept house, That he was (as she believeth) Born in Holland in Germany, Saith she was born in Scotland, That she was a yearly hired Servant, since the Death of her said Husband . then , having no Child living to Mr James Scott in Vine Street the back side of Rround Court Eleven Years, had 50s by the Year Wages Diet & Lodging, left the same the beginning of March last & never was a yearly hired Servant since
