Examination Text | Mary Lashley aged abt 32 yrs past from St James Clerkenwell Saith she was married to James Lashley her Husband (who hath been gone from her abt a fortnight) at St. Stephens Church Coleman Street abt 12 yrs agoe Saith he is by trade a Coachmakr & was bound an Appren for 7 yeares by Indre to Mr Charles Smith Citizen and Coachmaker of London in Order for his ffreedom but lived and served One Mr in the Haymarket a Coachmaker about 5 years as She hath heard & was afterwards turned Over to Mr Barnet in Long Acre ( as appears by Indorsement on the Indre) & Served the sd Mr Barnet there the remr of the terme which expired about 19 yeares agoe Since which he never was a yearly hired servt or housekeeper or Rented £10 Pr Ann Hath 2 Child Vizt Sarah aged about Seven yeares & Mary aged five years |
