Examination TextElizabeth Strangeways aged near 19 Years at the workhouse passed from St Giles in the ffields, Saith she was never Married, That she was never bound Apprentice, Was never a yearly hired Servant above three Months together to any Person, Saith she never kept house, That she was Born at the blew Anchor in Drury Lane in the Parish of St: Giles in the ffields aforesaid But that her ffather never kept house there or elsewhere, Saith he Served his Apprenticeship with one Mr Chapman a Dyer who lived the Corner of the Vinegar Year when her ffather was bound to him & all the time of his Appren, That he was never a Yearly hired Servant as she knoweth or ever heard. NB Her Mother Lodges at Mr Chapman's a Dyer in Drury Lane
