Examination TextMary Burne aged about 53 Years Lodging at one Mrs in Mercer Street against Mr Jackson's Brewhouse, Saith she is the Widow of Bryan Burne who died upwards of twenty Years since, That she was married to him at a Chappel by Lincolns Inn ffields about 30 Years agoe and by whom she hath one Son John Burne aged about Twenty six Years Married & hath two Children, By Trade a Gardiner, Saith her said late Husband was never bred to any Trade, That he was never a Yearly hired Servant, Saith he never kept house That he never Rented £10 by the Year, Was born in Ireland, Saith she, before Marriage with her said Husband . then being a Singlewoman Was a Yearly hired Servant to one Mr Phillipo a Button Maker in Dukes Court upwards of a Year, had £3 by the Year Wages Diet & Lodging and never was a yearly hired Servant a whole Year together to any Person afterwards, That she never kept house
