Examination Text | Sarah Lingard aged 45 years in the workhouse saith she is the widow of Thomas Lingard (who died 13 years ago) to whom she was married at St Martin's Tabernacle about 10 months before his death, and that having no child or children living at his death about four years ago she was a yearly hired servant to Thomas Munn at the Goat Tavern near Pall Mall in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields whom she there served at one time the space of 14 months, had nine Guineas by the year wages diet and lodging and never lived a year in any service since.
