Examination TextAlice Street aged 33 years at one Errington's, a Tin Shop in Drury Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields where she hath been assisting Mr Errington's wife (who is sick) near three weeks, that she is the wife of Edward Street, a Gardener who is gone from her and knows not where he is, that they kept house in Turnstile Alley in Drury Lane in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields near three quarters of a year, paid at the rate of 10 pounds per ann., paid no parish taxes, quitted that house near one year since, hath not took house since, nor her husband, has not been a yearly hired servant since, hath one child by her said husband named John aged near six years now with her and is now Great with child. Sworn the ninth day of January 1739 before me Val Hilder.
