Examination TextMary Powell aged 49 years in the workhouse saith that she never was married nor bound an apprentice, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mrs. Gwillam, [?] Maker in Exeter Street opposite the Black Horse alehouse in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields whom she served the space of six years had 2 pounds 10 shillings the first year, 3 pounds in the second and third years and every year since 3 pounds and 10 shillings, wages diet and lodging, quitted that service 15 or 16 years ago and never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or a year together in any service since.
