Examination TextHenrietta Luther aged about 20 years lodging at Mrs Hindes in Vinegar Yard saith that she is the wife of Samuel Luther (now in the Compton Prison) to whom she was married at St Bartholomew's Church London about 10 years ago, that is a Joyner by trade and was bound an apprentice by indenture for seven years to this Examinant's Father, Henry Pritchard in White Hart Yard in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields whom he served all his time within nine months, that he never rented 10 pounds by the year or paid any parish taxes since, that she hath one child by him to wit Martin aged about two years. Sworn the 18th Day of February 1739 before me Val Hilder.
