Examination Text | Anne Martin aged 58 years removed from the Parish of St Clement Danes saith that she is the widow of John Martin (who has been dead about 14 or 15 years) to whom she was married the Star and Garter in the Fleet 20 years ago and hath no child by him now living, that he was bound an apprentice by indenture for seven years to one Mrs Taylor, a Gold and Silver Orrice Weaver who then lodged at a house on that side of Denmark Court which is next the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields where and with whom her said husband served all his apprenticeship which expired about a year before she was married to him, and that after the expiration thereof he never kept an house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant, nor she this Examinant since his death, and that she never was married to any other Person.
