Examination TextChristopher Henry Bellfound aged near 70 years lodging at one at Mr Garey's a Pewterer in Church Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon his oath saith that he was married to Hannah his late wife (who died about two years ago) in Stepney Church about 30 years ago, that he kept two houses in Tunn Alley in the Strand in the Parish aforesaid near 25 years and paid 14 pounds by the year rent and all taxes, quitted the same near 20 years ago since which he never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year or paid any parish taxes, hath two children to wit Henry aged about 24 years, at work in the country, and Samuel aged about 22 years, both Shoemakers by trade. Sworn the 18th Day of February 1742 before me James Fraser.
