Examination TextWilliam Tatham aged about 69 years removed from the Parish of St. James Westminster upon his oath saith he was married to he is wife Christabell (now living at a place called Kersey in Staffordshire) about 15 years ago, that he never was bound an apprentice, that he kept house in Mercer Street about seven years and paid 10 pounds by the year rent and all parochial taxes, quitted the same before marriage with his present wife which is about 16 years ago, since which he never kept any house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or hath been a yearly hired servant since, one child living by his present wife Elizabeth aged 10 years with this Examinant. Sworn the ninth day of February 1742 before me James Fraser.
