Examination Text | Elizabeth Whittock aged 23 saith she lay last night on the church steps of this Parish, that she never was married or bound apprentice never kept house of or rented 10 pounds per ann. paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant, that her father Joseph Whittock was a Carpenter by trade and was bound apprentice in St Martin's Lane but to whom knows not, that he never kept house of or rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant. Sworn the 24th Day of November 1744 before James Fraser. |
