| Examination Text | Jane Badger aged 34 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields says she never was married never banned apprentice never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant, was born at New Alresford by Winchester in the County of Southampton, that her father was an Apothecary lived in and rented an house of 10 pounds by the year and paid all taxes for the same for the space of 40 years, that he has been dead between 16 and 17 years and never kept house afterwards.
